What locations do we service?
We are proud to be based in Billings, MT and offer our services within a 100-mile radius. If you are located outside this range, we encourage you to reach out to us to discuss potential service options in your area. Your needs are important to us, we are happy to explore possibilities together.
Do you offer any other imaging services?
Ultrasound is the only service currently offered by MIS, as it is the one imaging service that is truly mobile. As other medical imaging technologies evolve, MIS plans to offer additional options as they become available.
What happens at a screening event?
At a screening event each person chooses the screening exams they would like (we offer discounts for multiple exams) and receives a non-diagnostic wellness report.
Where can I find my images?
All ultrasound images and related paperwork are securely stored in JaneApp, our patient management system. You can find the link in Patient Resources.

What is the difference between a diagnostic exam and a screening exam?
A diagnostic exam and a screening exam serve different purposes in healthcare. Screening exams do not require a physician order, are limited imaging, non-diagnostic, and do not receive a report from the radiologist. Diagnostic exams require an order from a physician and do receive a report from a radiologist.
Who reads the study and supplies the report?
All diagnostic studies are read and reported on by board certified radiologists. Final reports are sent to the ordering physician. All screening exams receive a non-diagnostic wellness report from the technologist.
Do you take insurance?
At this time, we are not accepting insurance. Our prices are significantly lower than hospital exam prices to better serve our community and provide care to everyone.
Why can't I schedule my own exam?
We specialize in booking mobile services at specific locations and times to ensure everything runs smoothly for you. Our trusted providers handle all the arrangements so you can relax knowing that your bookings are accurate and reliable.
